Effective communication is essential for all roles in SAR operations. The remote, unpredictable, and potentially hazardous environment of the southeast Arizona desert and basin range mountains demands that teams are well-trained in all of communication options available to ensure coordination, safety, and mission success.
There are two main ways of communication available to Graham County Search and Rescue:
- Radio Communications,
- Cellular Phone Communications.
